  • Click on the FILE YOUR CLAIM button below and provide as much detail as you can. Folkies are a pretty honest bunch, so the odds are in your favour. Plus we’ll cross our fingers for you. All items handed in will be checked against claims in the hope that it can be matched with an outstanding missing item claim. We’ll contact you as soon as we think we have a match.

The item will also be posted below in case we misunderstand your description, so if you haven’t heard from us yet, perhaps have another search below - no more constant visits to lost property to find your lucky jacket!

  • If you’re local, you will be able to collect from the National Folk Festival office after the Festival is over (please wait for our instructions, we’ll be busy for the week after).

If you’re in a hurry, or from interstate, we can arrange for it to be held at the Flemington Road ticket box office while the festival is running so that you can collect it without entering the festival again.

Alternatively, we can arrange to post at your expense.

  • If you think your lost item is listed below, and you have the time, the fastest and easiest way to get it back where it belongs is to visit the Festival Lost & Found Team in the Quokka. Remember to bring a form of ID (or your matching face and DOB- if it’s your ID that you’ve lost).

If you’re not able to get in simply click on the DETAILS button and submit a claim and we’ll be in contact via email to ask you your preferred method of collection. Note: the item will still be visible to the public until it has been confirmed and collected.

  • Some valuable items or items that reveal personal information may be listed very simply eg. ring, ID, keys. They will not have a photo to ensure they go their true owner.

It’s up to you to provide a good description that matches the item. We will also be required to view photo ID for some items of value.
